Biography

Leoluca Arsena is a Corleone native resident, the son of Antonino Arsena and Anna Nicolosi 9 April 1741. The records disagree as to Leoluca's wife's given name. When they marry, she is called Maria Cortimiglia. In the records of their childrens' marriages, she is called Mattea Cortimiglia.

Leoluca marries Maria Cortimiglia, daughter of Maestro Francesco Cortimiglia and Maria, on 24 October 1762. His parents have died by this time.^[1]

Leoluca and Mattea have at least three children: Maria (c. 1774), Lucia (c. 1786), and Biagia (c. 1788).

Maria marries Matteo Vintaloro on 7 January 1793. This record calls her mother "Mattea."^[2]

Lucia marries Gioachino Ciavarello, a widower, on 12 October 1806.^[3]

Biagia marries Teodoro lo Bue on 12 June 1808. Her parents have died by this time.^[4]
