Research Notes
Bernard lists 4 daughters & 6 sons, born c. 1799 to 1822. Contrary to his typical practice, Bernard does not cite a specific source of the reported parentage of Adélaïde.
Credible sources consider that the father of Adélaïde was named Fidèle Arseneau à Abraham à Pierre the Second à Pierre Arseneau the First & first wife Marguerite Dugas, Her mother's first name has never been identified, but she was a daughter of Jean Arseneau à Jean à Jacques à Pierre the First by 2nd wife Marie Guérin. That makes the Adélaide's parents half-second-cousins.[5]
Removed St-Alexis-de-Matapédia, Avignon, Quebec, Canada as death location. This link to an Ancestry tree that was given as source does not give records to support this claim. [6] Other family trees in Ancestry give the same location and the date 12 Apr 1821, without sources. Could not find any information in PRDH.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Adélaïde by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Adélaïde:
Arsenault-1934 and Arseneau-422 appear to represent the same person because: Same name. Date of birth is different. Source in Arsenault-1934 is reliable if the correct date was transcribed in profile. Same spouse. Could daughter Apolline be Pauline in the children's list? Could not find sources for Apolline. Mentioned in this website https://www.nosorigines.qc.ca/GenealogieQuebec.aspx?genealogie=Doiron_Xavier&pid=802568 but not in other reliable family trees.
Arceneau-8 and Arseneau-422 appear to represent the same person because: Similar birth year estimate, same husband. Arceneau is a variant of the Wikitree standard spelling of the surname, which is Arseneau.
Arsenault-816 and Arseneau-422 appear to represent the same person because: The discrepant surnames are common variants of the Wikitree standardized spelling of Arseneau. Otherwise, key data-points line up.
According to the professional sources, the first name of Adélaide's mother is unknown. Maybe it was Marie, but no one seems to have come forth with documentation. Was "Marie" handed down as the name in a family's oral history?
Re question from Darryl Rowles: The source is unclear, although it could be Stephen White (who's cited as source for the ca. 1798 estimate of year of her marriage to Doucet). The info I posted comes from Bernard's listing for her, her Doucet husband, & their kids. He lists her as "Adélaïde ARSENAULT (Fidèle & [blank] Arsenault." Typically, Bernard notes his specific source/s after each particular point of information, but does not do so in the case of the item that I quoted. Thanks to your inquiry, I've just now added a note to her bio, indicating this absence.
Arsenault-736 and Arsenault-203 are not ready to be merged because: According to Jean Bernard's PEI volumes, these are two different women. The husband of #736 (dr of Joseph & Marie Bourgeois [2nd wife] is Hippolyte Arseneau - vol. I, p. 365. The husb of #203 is Athanase Doucet & her parents are Fidèke Arseneau & an unknown Arseneau woman - vol. III, p. 1634.
Arsenault-736 and Arsenault-203 appear to represent the same person because: John,
