Biography

Fidèle Arsenault was baptized on 3 Dec 1850 in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the son of Pierre Arsenault and Henriette Leger.[1][2] His date of birth was not mentioned in the parish register. His death record gives his date of birth as 18 Mar 1851.[3]

In the 1871 census Fidile (age 22) lived with his parents and siblings in Alnwick, Northumberland, New Brunswick.[4]

Fidelle married Emelie LeBlanc on 17 Apr 1877 in Alnwick, Northumberland, New Brunswick.[5] They had 7 children.

In the 1881 census Fidele (age 32), farmer, was recorded as married in Alnwick, Northumberland, New Brunswick.[6] He was listed with his wife Emilie, children Peter and Anriette, and his father Peter.

Widower Fidèle Arsenault (age 65) married Marguerite St. Coeur (age 56) on 19 Jul 1915 in Neguac.[7]

He passed away on 26 Apr 1931.[3]
