She died 1 Dec 1757 in Quebec at age 40 and was buried there the following day. [1]. [3]There were a large number of Acadian refugees who died in that same timeframe, most were interred in a large burial section listing numerous people together in the parish records. Marie had her own entry, which is more usual.
