Pelagie was born about 1875. She was the daughter of Anselme Arseneau and Marie Babineau.
She married Laurent Brun on 2 September 1894 in Cap-Pelé. [1]
In the 1901 census, Laurent age 35 and his wife Pélagie were recorded in Westmorland County with Pelagie Brine (Brun) recorded as a servant, age 6. She was the daughter of Martin Brun and Domethilde Doiron. According to family history reported by a descendant to Cormier-1939 00:02, 12 July 2021 (UTC) , all of the children had been sent to live with families all over and lost contact. Among the children were a Marie Landry in Sanford Maine and Léona. Her date of birth in the census is the same as in her baptism record.[2]

In 1911, in Cap-Pelé, in the household of Laurent and Pélagie, there is Pélagie Brun listed as a 2nd cousin, and an adopted son Tilmond Cormier. [3]
