Biography
Giacchino was born in 1833 to Antonino Artale and Giacoma Insinga. In 1864 at age 31, he married 31-year-old Maria Artale. Giacchino's marriage record describes him as middle class. Giacchino and Maria were both living as of 3 January 1889.
Giacchino was named for his maternal grandfather, Giacchino Insinga.
