Abba "Abbie" E Arthur was born in Oregon Territory in May 1858, the daughter of David Arthur and Mary Malone.[1]
In 1866, when she was about 8, her parents divorced. She lived with her mother, two sisters and brother in Washington County in 1870.[2] Her mother married Isaac Foster in 1872, and Abbie married Isaac’s son Stephen in 1875. She and Stephen had at least 3 children:
Abbie and Stephen appear to have divorced by the early 1880s, and Abbie married George Jackson in 1885. They had 2 children who died young[3] and were living in Marion County in 1900.
Abbie died on 18 March 1903 in Salem, Oregon.[4]
