Ervan married Elizabeth Ellen Grimes November 26, 1910[3] and they made their home in Fayette County, Pennsylvania until their divorce about 1911.
Ervan married Pearl L Byard November 20, 1915[4] and they made their home in Georges Township, Pennsylvania[5] until his death August 13, 1969.[6] Ervan is buried in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pennsylvania.[7][8]
