Biography

Hannah was born about 1857 in Castleford, Yorkshire, England. In 1861 she lived with her parents, Samuel and Emma, in Goole, Yorkshire.^[1] By 1871 Hannah worked as an agricultural labourer.^[2]

She married George Mosley in Snaith, Yorkshire, in 1875.^[3][4] By 1881 the family lived at Clark's Cottages on Marshland Road in Goole, Yorkshire. George worked as a railway locomotive stoker.^[5]

The 1891 census saw the family living in Wigan, Lancashire, where George continued to work on the railways.^[6] He was a locomotive driver by 1901.^[7][8]
