He was living with his parents and siblings in Wright, Pottawatomie, Iowa in 1910.[1] They were in Van Meter, Dallas, Iowa in 1920.[2] In 1930, he was living with his widowed grandmother Triphena (Newton) Petty in Atlantic, Cass, Iowa.[3]
He married Julia Mae Baker on 07 Aug 1935 in Audubon county, Iowa. They had children.
Graydon was a music teacher and later owned a piano store in Fontanelle, Iowa.
He passed away in 1990. He was buried in Fontanelle cemetery in Fontanelle, Adair, Iowa.[5]
