Biography

Burton was born in 1905 in Griswold, Cass, Iowa.[1] He was the son of Charles Asay and Avis Petty.

He was living with his parents and siblings in Wright, Pottawatomie, Iowa in 1910[2] and in Van Meter, Dallas, Iowa in 1920.[3]

He married Elva Iva Beckman on 13 Jan 1930 in the District of Columbia.[4] They were living in Riverdale, Prince George's, Maryland in 1930 with his brother George Raymond Asay.[5]

He was living with wife Peggy in District of Columbia, District of Columbia in 1940. [6] According to that census, he had been in Saskatoon, Canada in 1935.

He passed away in or after 1940.
