Biography
Mildred was born in 1896[1] in Rothwell, Northamptonshire, England. She was the daughter of Joseph Asbrey and Annie Higgins; her mother died in 1901 at the age of 39.[2]
In 1911 Millie lived with her father in Kettering, Northamptonshire, where she worked as a boot and shoe closer.[3] She married Archie Marlow in 1916.[4]
