Ensign George Asbury served with Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.

GEORGE ASBURY was born 1756 in Overwharton Parish, Stafford, Virginia, and died Bef. August 28, 1819 in Tazewell County,Virginia. He married MARY ANN TAYLOR in Fauquier County, Virginia. She was born in 1760 in Orange County, Virginia, and died Aft. 1823 in Tazewell County,Virginia. As a member of the Colonial Militia George served during the Revolutionary War as a Private. He signed the Petition to Form Russell County - December 1785 to allow the Militia to meet closer to the Clinch River settlement. George served on the first Tazewell County Grand Jury in 1800 and signed the petition to create a new town in Tazewell County.

This profile appears to have conflated information of 2 different people, one that went to Kentucky and one that stayed in Virginia since there are 2 1810 census in both locations.

There are 3 Family Search Profiles that also appear to be a mixture of information, with different parents. There is a colored chart 'The Three George Asbury Conundrum Research Paper' posted that shows the parents, spouse, and children of each of the George Asbury

DAR A084145 states he was born 1756 in Augusta, Virginia and died Aug 28 1819 Virginia SAR P-104886 states he was born before 1756 in Virginia and died before Jul 1819 in Virginia

That is a different DAR record than is on the profile. The dates seem to match the 2nd FS profile above.
Actually both are in sources. They are 14 & 15 in sources. Here's the other one that you had:
