Susannah's father Daniel Asbury executed his undated Lincoln County will in which he bequeathed: "And after the Death of myself and wife I give and bequeth to my three Daughter[s] (that is to say) Martha J Abernathy Susanna L Wilkerson and Lettey Cornelous all the house and property then remaining in the house (Excepting Books, and my wife[s] Riding saddle she will Dispose of her saddle as she think proper) to be devided Equally among my three Daughters such as beds and furneture Beaurs [bureaus] table clock chears chests table and chedeken [kitchen] furneture"[2]
