Biography

Jane ASCROFT was born in 1723 in Holmeswood, Lancashire, the daughter of Ann and William. She married Thomas CAUNCE on 6 March 1743 in Rufford, Lancashire. They had nine children in 23 years. She died in August 1805 having lived a long life of 82 years, and was buried in Rufford, Lancashire.
