Biography
James was born in 1834. He was baptised on 6 April in Ampney St Mary by parents Joseph and Ellen. Joseph was a Labourer. [1]
On 10 April 1858 James married Jane Tilling in Ampney St Mary. James was a Labourer as was his father Joseph and Jane's father Jonathan. Edward Ash and Sarah Ash were witnesses. [2]
In 1861 Jane and James were living in Ampney St Mary with Jane's daughter Jane. James was a Groom [3] The couple appear to have no children of their own.
