Research Notes

There is no evidence that Homer Ash was the son of Jesse Ray Ash, nor that he was the father of Riley Fletcher Ash. In fact, Jesse Ray Ash was the father of Riley Ash. I too have spoken with Irma Ash (the purported source of this information above) and I know that she recognized Jesse Ash as her grandfather, not a Homer Ash. I have searched high and low for a Homer Ash anywhere near to Jesse Ray Ash and he is not to be found. Further, the purported birthdate of Homer makes it unlikely that Jesse was his father since Jesse would have only been 14 years old when Homer was born. Further, there is no indication of a mother for Homer. I have taken the liberty of removing the connection of Homer to Jesse Ray Ash, and without any documentation at all, I suspect he never existed.
