In 1891 widowed Emma and her children move to Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and at the time of the 1901 and 1911 Census she remains residing there with her daughter Fannie (nee Stanton) Brooks' family[2][3][4]
Emma Jane (nee Ashbee) Stanton died in 1924 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire[5]
