The death occurred at Warwick on May 21 of Mr. Joseph Henry Ashburn, lately of Roma. The deceased gentleman, who was 70 years of age, and was well known many years ago in Warwick. During his earlier life Mr. Ashburn followed grazing pursuits, and at various times managed Timor station, in New South Wales. On coming to Queensland he purchased Kennington Station, near Dalby, and of late years he lived in Roma. Besides his widow he is survived by Mrs. W. F. May, Mrs. Harold Quodling (Brisbane), Mrs. R, E. Soutter (Bungeworgorae), Mrs. S. Bassett (Roma), Mrs. Seaforth; (Melbourne), Archie, Reg., Wallace (Roma), and Roy (Gindi State farm).
