Biography

Peyton Ashby was oldest child of Benjamin Ashby and Margaret Burdette. He was born 1817 in Kentucky. He married Louisa E. "Eliza" Crow (or Corne) on Oct. 4, 1837 in Pike, Indiana. They were the parents of Daniel C., Julia Frances (M. Joseph Wiggs), Joseph D., Amanda M. "Manda",John W. , Mary E., Lafayette, and Harrison A.H. Ashby.
