Biography
Joe Ashby is a part of US Black heritage.
Joe Allen Ashby was born on 7 January 1931 in Tennessee, the son of John Ashby and Alene Reese.[1]
In the 1940 census, he was eight years old and living with his parents and siblings in Lincoln County, Tennessee.[2]
In the 1950 census, he was 18 years old and living with his aunt and uncle, Lou Ella and Willie L Ashby, in Lincoln County, Tennessee. He was working as a farm hand.[3]
He passed away on 3 September 2012 in Ohio.[4]
