Rosette was born in 1891 at the Benevolent Asylum in Sydney.[1][2] She was eight years old when her mother died from tuberculosis. She was a State ward living at Ormond house in Paddington shortly before her death. [3] She died in hospital at Little Bay, the result of Graves' disease.[4]
