Have a look at our New Member How-To page for some tips and tricks on getting started. Personally, I've found that the best way to go is to start with yourself and working backwards, adding your immediate family lines and connecting with those that are already in WikiTree. We have over 240 Ashdown profiles and many more Burrs; it is likely some of them are related to you. :)
