Biography

Eugene was born 12 March 1884 in Key West, Florida.^[1] He was the son of Thomas James Ashe and Geraldine Griffin.

He was baptized on 23 March 1884 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church by the Rev. Felix Ghione.^[2] His sponsors were W. Andrews and Cecilia Lowe.

He married Sibyl Louise Warren circa 1913, based on the birth of their oldest known child.^[3] No record of their marriage has been found in Key West.

Eugene died on 15 August 1958 in Orange County, Florida,^[4] and he is buried in the Key West City Cemetery.^[5]
