He was baptized on 23 March 1884 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church by the Rev. Felix Ghione.[2] His sponsors were W. Andrews and Cecilia Lowe.
He married Sibyl Louise Warren circa 1913, based on the birth of their oldest known child.[3] No record of their marriage has been found in Key West.
Eugene died on 15 August 1958 in Orange County, Florida,[4] and he is buried in the Key West City Cemetery.[5]
