Robert became a clergyman and had a parish in Belfast [1]
From report by Ralph [Ashenhurst-132], "When Ralph Ashenhurst (1927) was in Cape Town in 1948 as a third officer he met a Robert Ashenhurst who said he was his father's cousin. IN trying to place which Robert Ashenhurst this was Ralph feels it could have been this Robert born 1867 as when he met him he appeared 'old' to him".
