She is the daughter of William Ashford and Florence Candler. [1]

She married Thomas Edwin Lumsden in 1909[2]

Ethel died 2 Dec 1956 in Hall, Georgia[3] and is buried in Nacoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sautee, White County, Georgia, USA.[4]
