Ashley-1155 and Ashley-448 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate, was confused with the daughter of Samuel Ashley.

" She was the daughter of David Ashley and Mary Dewey." This is incorrect. Mary is the daughter of Samuel Ashley (Ashley-811) and Sarah Kellogg (Kellogg-224). These are the same parents as Samuel Kellogg's second wife, Mary's sister, Rachel Kellogg, (Kellogg-3077).

Mary died in 1728, and Samuel married sister Rachel within a couple months. The two women were also 1st cousins to Samuel. Also, I have nor previously seen the "Mercy" first name for Mary.
