Hello
I am doing some research on a Napoleonic War veteran - Rickard O'Connell born Ennis, Co.
Clare, died in NZ in August 1850 aged 56 years of age. Perhaps we was the Rickard born in 1794.
- son of Maurice O'Connell and xxx Swyny listed on the IGI.
He was with the British Army and took part in the early Land Wars in NZ. Died in Wellington.
(further info available).
There is also a burial in Karori Cemetery of a niece of "Daniel O'Connell - stated in the burial.
record. - she was Mary (nee O'Connell) died in 1905 in her 80s - I'd need to recheck this if.
Descendants of Geoffrey O'Connell.
