Letha Caroline Ashley[1] was born about 1832 in Tennessee.[2] She married Gabriel W. Wilmoth about 1848 in Hickman County, Tennessee.[1] G. W. and Caroline first lived in Fulton County, Kentucky.[2] By 1860, they were living in Graves County, Kentucky.[3] Caroline and G. W. had at least 7 children.[2][3][4] By 1880, Caroline was widowed and living in Izard County, Arkansas.[4] Her young granddaughter Mary was also living in her household.[4]
