Emma was born in 1868. She was the daughter of William Ashling and Mary Elsey. She passed away in 1950.[1] "Sam and Emma Crossley came from England to Toronto, then to Strathmore in 1909." They lived and farmed in Strathmore until Mr. Crossley died suddenly in 1929. "Mrs. Crossley moved to Vancouver and passed away in 1950. They had four children."[2]
