Richard Ashman was born in Suffolk, England in 1741.[1] He married Rose Snow on December 9, 1776 in Sudbury, Suffolk, England[2] and they had at least four children. Rose born in 1777; Elizabeth born in 1778, Mary born 1781 & Thomas born 1794. They were all born at Icklingham St. James, Suffolk, England. Richard died at the age of 80 and was buried at Ingham, Suffolk, on February 22, 1821.[3]
