Biography
Cassius was born in 1849, son of John and Frances (Manfull) Ashton.
C.A. was married three times, first to Emma Brown, who bore him two daughters, Elizabeth and Lucy. Widowed in 1878, C.A. remarried in 1882 to Mary Morrison, and when widowed yet again sometime prior to 1899, married May Barrett (28 years his junior) in Trumbull, OH on November 29, 1899.
The exact date of C.A.'s death is currently unknown.
