Biography
Mary Jane Culleton, born 1869, was living with Elizabeth (Morrell) and Samuel Culleton in 1881. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Morrell and John Ashton, born about 11 months before her father's death.
Mary J Ashton, born PEI in 1869, married on 4 Sep 1899 in Boston, James S. Long from New Brunswick. She was the daughter of John Ashton and Annie Morritt (perhaps Morrell). James Long died in Boston 12 Apr 1900 at the age of 31.
In 1911, Mary Jane Long was living with her mother and step-father, Samuel Culleton. She said she was born March 1871 - however, she was named in a codicil to her father's will, dated 1869.
Mary Jane married Cephas Grigg.
