We have several members of the Portugal Project that are in the same boat as you are (with English being their native language). We are a newer Project so don't have a lot of things going on right now, but there are helpful people in the group. If you want to join you can post here to show your interest. António came from Vila Nova de Poiares. I haven't researched that area but I can help you get started if you would like. You are lucky they listed the County! There are only four parishes so we might find something if we can figure out which one.
I see that you also have Kentucky ancestors (smiles). Barely in the state being that far North! I live in Harrison County, Kentucky.
Best of luck, and welcome to WikiTree!
