Biography
1870 Rapides Parish shows Martha with children, Robert 21, Martha 18, Nancy 14, Sophroina 12 and Elizabeth 8. Martha filled out a Widows Application for a Pension on 05-02-1900 at about 80 years old and she was living in Vernon Parish. Reason enter the service of the Confederate States army during the Civil War at New Iberia in Feb. of 1863, in Company I, Clarks Battalion as a private in the Crescent Regiment of Louisiana.
