Biography
Lily was born on 28th March 1901 [1] in Lambeth [2].
She received her early education in Calcutta, where it appears that her entire family were living.
She attended the Knights Templar School, Baldock, from 16th September 1912 until the 4th March 1913 [3], when she switched to Pixemore School, Letchworth [4]. During all of this time, she was living at 29 Lytton Avenue, Letchworth, Herts.
She married Charles Arthur Cookson in 1926 in Norton [5].
She died in Hitchin in 1972 [6].
