Biography
Otis Benjamin "Ben" Askins was born on 27 May 1905 in Paragould, Greene,Arkansas to parents Benjamin Franklin Askins and Cora Gertrude Eubanks. He married first Gladys Mae Helms about 1925 in Arkansas. Children: Geneva, Gladys Kathleen, Vira Mae, Fay, Betty Lou, Mary Francis, Frankie Sue. After Gladys died in 1979 he married second Alma C Carter in 1988 in Greene, Arkansas. He died on 11 Mar 1996 in Paragould, Greene, Arkansas.[1]
