Wilhelm Asmus moved his family to Oberdorf in 1852. The family's entry in the 1857 Grimm census repeats the male members of the family as of 1850 and adds a notation about the family moving to another village. A copy of the 1857 Oberdorf census should include the name of his wife and any female children still living in the family.
