Biography
John Aspden was baptised at Blackburn, St Mary the Virgin, Lancashire, on 3 April 1653. His father was Henry Aspden. John Aspden's son Richard Aspden was baptised at Saint Mary, Blackburn, in 1668. John Aspden married his second (?) wife Elin Broune at Blackburn on 1 Apr 1677, and they had several children (see below),
