From: obituary sent from Finland on Karl Konstantin Aspegren; He was born, lived and died in Simo. He died at home of a heart attack. He was a pilot (of boats) like his father, Adolf Fredrik Aspegren. Simo is right on the Gulf of Bothnia, (a few miles) and it is near two major rivers, at least one of which connects to an important inland lake. We think they were river pilots, but perhaps they also were on the Gulf.
