Biography
Leslie Asplet was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Leslie George Asplet was born in 1899 in Waterloo, New South Wales, Australia. His parents were William Sydney Asplet and Margaret Elizabeth Street.[1]
He had 11 siblings.[2]
Leslie married Evelyn Anne Gibbs (~1900 - 1939) in 1920 in Rockdale, New South Wales.[3]
Their children were:
- Evelyn Margaret Asplet
- Leslie Herbert Asplet (1925 - 1928)
- Doreen Jean (Asplet) Brierley (1928 - 2013).
Leslie died on April 6, 1958 in Rockdale aged ~58 and is buried at Woronora cemetery, Sutherland.[4][5]
