William was born in 1836. He was the son of George Asper and Salome Firestone.^[1]

William was a Mormon pioneer who arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1861.^{[2][3][4][5][6][7]}

He passed away in 1910.^[8][9][10] He was buried in plot P_11_5_1E of Salt Lake City Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA.^[11]
