Biography
Edward was born on 12 January 1808 and was christened on 6 February 1808 at Wigan, Lancashire, England. He was the son of William Aspinall and Ann Melling. [1]
Edward was convicted of housebreaking on 3 March 1832 and sent to the Colony of New South Wales as a convict for the term of his natural life, He arrived on the Parmelia in 1832.[2]
Edward applied to be married to Sarah Bartlett a widow and a free immigrant. Permission was granted on 2 August 1845.[3]
He was granted a conditional pardon on 30 July 1847. [4]
He passed away in 1881 in the Dungog district of New South Wales.[5]
