Wayne was born in 1896. He was the son of Mack Aspinall and Jessie Norviel.
In Census Year, June, 1900, Wayne N. Aspinall is 4 years old and living with his parents in Logan Co., Ohio. Father, Mack Aspinall, is 27, and mother, Jessie E., is 24. (both born in Ohio.) Along with them is younger brother, Ralph D., 2 years old. Mack is a farmer.
By 1920, Mack is widowed and had relocated to Palisade, Mesa Co., Colorado, owning and operating a fruit farm. Wayne is absent from this census, but brother Ralph is 22 years old and married.
Wayne Norviel Aspinall served the State of Colorado as the elected U. S. House Representative to Colorado's 4th District from 1949 to 1973. He also served during both WWI, as Corporal and Staff Sergeant in the Air Service of the Signal Corps. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII as Captain and legal expert for the Allied forces. He participated in D-Day landings at Normandy, on June 6, 1944, afterward joining the 8th Army's drive to liberate Germany. He passed away in 1983.
