Biography
When Jane "Jensey" Aspley was born on August 3, 1812, in Sumner, Tennessee, her father, John, was 56, and her mother, Sarah, was 41. She married Reason Alexander Mayhew on July 14, 1832, in her hometown. They had 13 children in 18 years. She died in 1900 in Allen, Kentucky, having lived a long life of 88 years.
