Abel Assersen was born at Solli on 27 Nov 1882 and was baptized at Lund on 28 Jan 1883.[1] His family lived at Solli.[2] Abel married Helga Karlsdatter on 15 Feb 1906 at Lund.[3] Abel and Helga immigrated to the United States and settled in Crawford County, Wisconsin near relatives that had arrived earlier. They sometimes used Solli as their surname but later in life went by Aspenson. They lived in Seneca.[4][5][6][7] Abel died in Seneca on 03 May 1954 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.[8]
