Biography

Walter was born 19 June 1867. He is the son of John Astill and Augusta Salmon. ^[1]

Walter James married Charlotte Annie Shotter in 1888 in New Zealand.^[2] Their children include:

Walter died 22 April 1921 in New Zealand.^[8] He is buried in Taita Old Cemetery.
