Biography

Vinal Herbert Astill was born October 13, 1919 to Lily ^[1] Ham and Herbert Astill in Salt Lake City. His family's home in 1920 included two siblings, Thelma and Naoma, and his maternal uncle, Charles L. Ham.

Vinal married Idona Lund (1930-2008). Vinal died March 17, 1983 and was buried with his wife in Redwood Memorial Cemetery, West Jordan, Salt Lake, Utah. ^[2]
