Jessie Brown Astle was born on January 29, 1906, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, George, was 28, and her mother, Ora, was 21. She married Robert Melvin Hunter in New Brunswick, Canada. They had ten children in 18 years. She died on November 23, 1976, in her hometown at the age of 70.[1] [2]
