Biography

Ada Aston was born in 1794. She was the daughter of Stephen Aston and Rose Holmes. She passed away in 1861.

Name aslo recorded as Adelaide, Edy, Adey, Addey, Hedegum and Edith. She was born in 1794 to Stephen Aston and Rosamund Holmes.

Note on death: An Edey Pritchard was buried at All Saints, Wellington on 23 May 1827, though with an age of '23' (Adey's age would be 33). Given that a son, Steven Pritchard (Adey's father's name) was baptised to 'John & Edith Pritchard' May 20 1827, and buried May 30 1827, it seems this is likely the burial record of Adey Aston/Pritchard with the incorrect age recorded. Her husband, John Pritchard, 'widower', remarried in 1838.

Aston-1480 (previously Ashton-1859) and Aston-1475 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles are for the daughter of Stephen and Rose Aston (sometimes Ashton) known as Adey, Edey or Adelaide (etc), baptised Wellington 14 December 1794.
